The relationship between these various members of the health team and the nurse is a professional relationship. The nurse should apply such techniques and attitudes that develops confidence in the minds of the other personnel and the community. There should be good and clear communication between the nurse and the other professionals to maintain good cooperation between the two. Professional etiquette is the good manners exhibited in the professional relationships and nurse should learn what type of etiquette is accepted and expected of her in professional relationships. To command respect from others she should be well- informed, intelligent, dignified and prompt and should show interest and initiative in her work.

The community relationship has two sides - she is the member of the same society and also has the professional relationship with the community.
